Our terms of use are based around the MoonSponge guidelines below. Please ensure your child fully understands them before signing up.
MoonSponge Guidelines
- MoonSponge is completely free, report anyone who claims to be from MoonSponge and asks for payment of any kind.
- Please make sure the website address at the top of your browser begins with http://www.moonsponge.com/ before using the website. This ensures that you are using the real MoonSponge website and not a look-a-like website which tries to steal your account details.
- Homepages can not contain content that is unsuitable for under 18's, which includes links to other websites which are also unsuitable. Users who have bad language on their homepage will also be removed from the website.
- You are responsible for whatever you put on your homepage and you are responsible for making sure that it doesn't breach any copyrights. We will remove copyrighted text/images/sounds etc from any homepages at the request of the copyright owner.
- We will remove any homepages from MoonSponge without notice if we feel the page is breaking any of the guidelines or is a risk to other homepages.
- Personal details are strictly not allowed to be shared on MoonSponge, whether thats on your own homepage or in any guestbooks. Here are some examples are what is not allowed to be shared:
- Home address
- Telephone/mobile number
- School name/address
- The graphics/animations and pictures which are available for use on your homepage are sourced from a third party company which have there own terms of use. Make sure you read their terms of use if you plan to use the images anywhere other than on your MoonSponge homepage.
- MoonSponge may sometimes be offline for maintenance and we cannot guarantee when this will happen. We will always aim to do maintenance very late at night so it's unlikely that you will lose any changes to your homepage, but we cannot guarantee when or for how long we will be unavailable.
- We can change our guidelines at any time without notice. Please check back regulary to make sure you're always up-to-date.
- If you see someone else breaking the guidelines, please contact us.
